Arizona State soccer followers slam Herm Edwards for hypocritical remark

Some previous feedback from former Arizona State soccer coach Herm Edwards have resurfaced on social media within the wake of ASU’s postseason bowl ban.

And the feedback have fired up Solar Devils followers, who’re irate at how new coach Kenny Dillingham and his gamers — who had nothing to do with the recruiting allegations and investigations surrounding the Arizona State program — are being punished for it.

The feedback?

In 2017, Edwards, then an analyst for ESPN, mentioned this a few scandal involving the College of Louisville soccer program.

“When the pinnacle coach says I did not know, I am like, no, no, no, that is your job to know,” Edwards mentioned on ESPN. “Your identify is on this program. The assistant coaches, they arrive and go. Your identify is on this system. That turns into your legacy.”
