An allegedly drunk man was {golfing} alongside Freeway 401 early Monday night, based on Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
The incident occurred within the space of Freeway 401 and Allen Street, simply after 5 p.m., an OPP spokesperson confirmed to CTV Information Toronto.
OPP’s Yuvraj Bhogiwal stated the Toronto detachment obtained a name relating to a pedestrian who was {golfing}, and as soon as the officer arrived, police discovered the person had pulled over to assist one other motorist who was disabled.
“Whereas ready for a tow, he might have determined to start out taking pictures balls,” Bhogiwal stated, including they might not affirm if he was hitting balls in direction of the freeway.
“He was clearly intoxicated. That’s why he stopped.”
Police arrested the motive force, a person in his 50s, and charged him with impaired operation.
His licence has been suspended and automobile impounded.
