Man arrested for his alleged position in road racing group

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Murfreesboro man was arrested Tuesday in Nashville for his alleged position in a road racing group.

Metro police stated 25-year-old Austin Scott was arrested on a number of counts of rioting, inciting riots, and reckless endangerment.

Investigators imagine Scott was a part of a recognized road racing group and arranged no less than 10 occasions since January 2023.

One of many road racing occasions held on June 17 concerned a car driving quick and crashing close to the intersection of Sidco Drive and Powell Avenue, killing all three teenagers inside, based on police.

Scott was arrested and launched on a $36,000 bond.
